Motorola is another old and well known brand of smartphones that is making its entry into the Television market. The company announced the new range of Smart TVs at an event today alongside the affordable Moto E6s smartphone. The new Motorola TV range will be powered by Android TV and is offered in different sizes with prices ranging from Rs 13,999 to Rs. 64,999. The Motorola smart TVs range will be shipped with Android TV 9.0 and is confirmed to feature HDR and Dolby Vision standard as well as Dolby Audio and DTS sound tech. Motorola will also offer a free gamepad, which will let you play games on the TV by downloading games from the Google Play Store.
The TV range also features a built-in front-firing soundbar-style speaker setup which is rated to offer 30W sound output. This soundbar will be offered on all the models under the new Moto TV range. The Moto TV range starts at a 32-inch size variant with HD 720p resolution priced at Rs 13,999 going on to 43-inch Full-HD 1080p for Rs 24,999, 43-inch Ultra-HD 4K for Rs 29,999, 50-inch Ultra-HD 4K for Rs 33,999, 55-inch Ultra 4K for Rs 39,999 and the 65-inch Ultra-HD 4K for Rs 64,999.
The Moto TV comes with a myriad of features including 4K UHD displays and Dolby Atmos audio systems. The Moto TV has been launched at around the same time as the OnePlus TV and it is clear that Motorola considers them as their main competitors as the features of the Moto TV are very similar to that of the OnePlus TV, however, the prices of the Moto TV are incredibly budget-friendly making them far more affordable and quit possibly the better buy.
